Last night my daughter slept in her big girl bed for the first time. She did great. slept the whole night through and didn’t get upset when she woke up in her new bed.

Later this morning we were getting ready to leave and she was running around outside, like normal. I scooped her up before she could run down into the road and she says, “No daddy, I want freedom.”

I started laughing, “Why you laughing daddy?” I told her that I was laughing because she was really funny. Through a giggling fit she continues, “Daddy laughing…”

I was listening to the radio this morning and they were talking about a New York State official who is currently engaged in a court case. They mentioned that he had been charged with a similar case a while ago and had been acquitted. That got me thinking…..

This is a question for you (actually 2 questions). When you hear the word acquitted. Do you generally think of that as a positive thing, or a negative one? And, if you want to add this additional bit of information, what is your profession?
